Happy New Year!

2013...welcome!!  A new year brings new thoughts, new goals, new aspirations, new things to do, new things to see and new things to accomplish.  The past couple of years, I've read of many people choosing one single word to guide themselves through the entire year.  A word to keep them on their path.

I felt like seeing what all the hype was about.  My word for 2013 is...PERFORM.  I'm sure those of you who know me can guess, I definitely do not mean on a stage!

Perform, as in, take action and get things done.  Things such as, create art, sell art, organize my life, find and practice alternate ways of controlling my autoimmune reactions, read and learn.  Oh yea, and physically exercise...for real, instead of just watching the exercise video while sitting on the couch (who does that?!).

Here's to 2013 being a year full of health, happiness and performance.  Happy New Year!!

Have you be chosen a word for 2013?  I would love to hear your word!

Hi LIsa, I love your word and I know what you mean. It is so easy to stay on the couch scrolling through all the wonderful posts and sites and e-classes and stuff. But it is so hard to get off the couch and actually do some of what we get inspired by! I think we all suffer from that problem. My words this year are Peace and Contentment, so while I will perform, I am not going to stress about it if it interferes with my Peace and Contentment lol. I am due! Ok, now time to get some art done! Best wishes and huggs!

I love the energy and intentions behind your word, Lisa! Looking forward to seeing where the word takes you this year.

My word is renaissance. 2013 will be a time of letting go of the past, and of artistic prosperity.

Happy new year! xo

Hi Lisa!
Good luck on all that you wish to accomplish + perform this year! And by the way – I’ve been known to sit on the sofa + watch an exercise video, too. Usually with a look of utter dismay on my face. lol

Thanks for the smiles! :)

Wishing you all the best in 2013!

Happy new year, Lisa! I did my first exercise class – zumba – last night in more than 10 years. I usually only get activity like that once a year at a Christmas party. Good luck with your art!

Hi Michelle, I was waffling with action or perform, but action just didn’t feel right. Wishing you a great 2013!

Lisa, I love your word perform! It brings to mind always in motion and moving forward so I wish you all the best in 2013 as you discover new meanings. And BTW… I have a cabinet full of such DVD’s that I’ve been entertained “by”! :)
