Photography exhibit and contest

Today, "Layered Up" will be on display at the photography exhibit and contest at "4th Fridays" at the Starline Gallery in Harvard, IL from 6-9 PM. This photograph was shot at Starved Rock State Park last summer. A beautiful place for nature, wildlife and hiking. My heart is set on getting out there this fall when the trees are full of autumn colors.

The Starline Factory is an old factory building, which was rescued from demolition. There is still some old equipment throughout the building, an old time elevator in operating condition, and an enormous amount of character. The exhibit and contest takes place nine months out of the year. This is the third time I've had my photography accepted. It's a fun night of live music and art on three floors, along with appetizers and a cash bar.

Do you have certain periods of time where almost every song you listen to moves you in some way?

Yeah, that's how I've been feeling. Music has been on my mind. My favorite song right now is "Like A Wrecking Ball" by Eric Church. It's very sensual, full of soul and emotion and makes me feel calm, happy, relaxed and like dancing.

What is your favorite song right now and why?
