Sligo Bay was the next stop on our way home from Ladies Brae. We are not sure of the name of this location (if you recognize it, please let me know). We decided to drive in the direction of the ocean and came upon a dead end road, which led us right to it.
As we drove down this tiny road, we could not see the road under us. It looked like we were going to drive off the cliff and right into the ocean. I regret missing that photo opp. The road had a small area to park and turnaround. There were two motorcyclists taking a break from their ride.
As I looked around, there was so much blue and green everywhere. The moss was almost neon green and it looked fabulous against the blue water and sky. It was quite windy and the waves were crashing into the rocky shore.
I was trying my best to capture the crashing waves in some photographs. On occasion, they crashed hard and splashed really high.
I hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I do. It's always fun to find these hidden gems of beauty in nature. I will be adding photographs from Ireland to my store in the near future.

Hi Melissa! Yes, we had a lovely trip. Believe it or not, this isn’t even the best of Ireland. Spring was just beginning and May or June will be even more green and beautiful. It is definitely a trip worth making. Thank you for stopping by!
It looks like a wonderful trip! Wow, Ireland is as lush as I’ve heard it is- it is SO beautiful. I’m hoping to visit one day. Thank you for sharing these pictures with us.
Haha, I hear ya! It really is a beautiful place to visit.
