  The start of a new drawing is on my drawing board.  Deer are such gorgeous animals.  There are many near my house and I often see the path they leave in my grass.  They walk through my yard at night, so I don't usually see them.  I wish I did.  The majority of the time, they are on the side of the road and I hope and pray they don't decide to run out in front of me. Merry Christmas

Merry O'Penguin - December 2013 Every year, I draw a design for my Christmas card.  I began this tradition in 2006.  I'd like to share with you my Christmas card drawing for 2013 titled, Merry O'Penguin.  It's a marker, charcoal, graphite and colored pencil drawing on 9" x 12" 140 lb. mixed media vellum paper.  Total drawing time was 15.25 hours.
